About Our Approach

OEI object architects have been credited for designing and leading such highly successful object-based projects as cutting-edge systems at MCI and AT&T, among other accomplishments currently deployed nation-wide. The technical reason for this distinguished track record lies in the fact that each of these architects has been working in WebObjects since its very inception, and they all possess extensive experience in planning, designing, and coding in object-oriented environments.

Technical expertise is not what sets OEI architects apart from the rest, however. The real reason behind this distinction is that, when our architects look at a client's requirements, their primary objective is to attain complete understanding of that client's specific business needs as they apply to the world of objects. In many cases, the client has an internal technical staff trained and experienced in the goals and processes of the enterprise. Our architects make it their objective to understand exactly what each of the members in this technical group needs in order to do his or her job with maximum efficiency and minimum time and effort. -- the variables that make the cost-effectiveness equation yield the best results.

Thus, instead of simply creating an application to address a restricted, fixed set of requirements, OEI architects take into account the vision and mission of the client's enterprise as a whole. Not a line of code is written until we have a thorough understanding of the "big picture." Our goal is to provide the client with the means to allow its resources to focus on the needs of the business, and not be concerned with repetitive, platform-driven application and system enablers. That is our architects' job, and they do it very well!
